Marshall Basketball: Shane Hall Commits to the Herd

First reported by Fox Sports recruiting analysis Evan Daniels, Marshall's basketball program has received a verbal commitment from Shane Hall. Hall made his commitment during an unofficial visit to campus this evening.


A 6-foot-9, 210 lbs. forward, Hall is a standout player at Johnson Central High School (KY). Despite battling injuries to both ankles, he averaged 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game as a junior. Rivals.com, Scout.com, and ESPN all rank him as a three star prospect. According to reports, Hall received scholarship offers from high major programs Butler and Tennessee.
