First reported by Scout.com, running back Tony Pittman has given a verbal commitment to Marshall's football program.
A power runner, Pittman lead Phoebus High School (VA) with 1,784 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns despite missing the seasons first three games. Standing 5-feet-11, 200 pounds, Pittman is rated a two star prospect by to Scout.com. He also had scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Purdue, Old Dominion, and Syracuse.
